We are the Ohio Heartland Chapter of Sweet Adelines
International, located in Delaware, Ohio. Our membership are from
all walks of life and represent women who love to sing from many
cities surrounding Delaware.
In additional to being part of the International
Organization we are also a part of Sweet Adelines Region #4 which
compromise chorus's from Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and West
Virginia.
Our chorus has a history of being involved with our
local communities. We sponsor and organize in conjunction with
the Delaware
Parks and Recreation the Summer Harmony In The Park Series.

In addition we produce an annual show and entertain
at special events, holidays, birthdays or special family
occasions. |

Our chorus has the privilege to have a registered
quartet within our ranks. The Dominotes have celebrated their 25th
year of barbershop harmony.
The Dominotes have been very active in the Delaware
community performing on a regular basis. They make
it a regular habit to share their love of barbershop harmony
for residents of area nursing homes and shut-ins.

Marge and Diane
were the brain child of Delaware’s summer series “Harmony In The
Park”. Amelia and Marge have shared their love of barbershop
harmony within the gates of Scioto Juvenile Correction Center in
an effort to encourage the girls to find activities which might
elevate their self confidence and self esteem. |
Phyllis, is a retired Delaware City teacher and
enjoys her beautiful Florida home and singing with the Spirit of
the Gulf Chorus while in Florida.
Amelia, is also retired and is now wondering how she
had time to work. But, it is obvious she enjoys her home,
grandchildren, and the opportunity to enjoy her family and
friends.
Marge, is the third retiree of this quartet and is
very active volunteering at PIN and working in her church.
Diane, is a third grade teacher in the Buckeye
Valley Local Schools, and is very involved with her children, 4H,
and her church.

The chorus rehearses once each week on Monday
evenings at 7:00 pm. Women who love to sing are always welcome to visit us any Monday
night. Our rehearsals normally are two hours long concluding
about
9:00 pm. Plan to visit us and experience the joy
of singing harmony barbershop style.
